The Graphplot Manual is a MacWrite II file, which contains all formatting and diagrams. A Text file version is also provided, but is unformatted and has no graphics. The Manual can be supplied in other formats (Word 4 or 5, WordPerfect, etc.) on request.
Printing.
Printing from the Finder and within the application is supported, but not as a concurrent task. If a plot is busy, the print command will wait until the plot is completed before printing. During this time, an alert message appears to inform the user of this fact.
Built-in functions.
Holding down the shift key when choosing a built in function will plot the function using the current axis, and not its own stored axis values.
Option-GO!
Holding down the option key and selecting 'Plot Graph Now' will replot all open graph windows. The menu item changes to 'Plot All'. Useful after a tiling operation, for example.
Close All- bypassing the 'save?' alert.
When closing a lot of windows, option-clicking the close box or holding down the option key when choosing Close from the file menu will close all windows. Normally, every window is checked to see if a save is required. This can be tiresome if you know that you don't want to save anything. To bypass the save alert, also hold down the command key.
v1.2 extra features and fixes...
Holding down Command and Option while selecting About Graphplot displays information about current memory usage.
Changing background or scale colours no longer causes a replot of the entire graph- more intuitive and less annoying!
The manual has been updated and lists other new features.
v1.2.1 bug fix...
This version corrects a bug which caused GraphPlot to crash if you attempted to perform an 'Extract Selection' from a graph that hadn't completed plotting yet. Sorry about that! Also, this version works a little more nicely under System 6.0.x and now uses the system's method of drawing the 'grow box' in the window.
